Local Election Victory

Congratulations to Cheryl Johnson and Doug Spencer the TWO New Conservative councillors who won the by-elections.

The Conservatives held both the Queen's Park  and the Winton East ward to retain their massive 26-seat majority on Bournemouth council.

Winton East turned out to be the closest fought ward, with Conservative candidate Douglas Spencer securing 590 votes compared to Liberal Democrat's 411.The turnout was just 24.63 per cent.

In Queen's Park and Charminster, The Conservative vote was almost double the Liberal Democrat vote with Cheryl Johnson getting MORE votes then the highest placed Liberal Democrat at last years Local election! Cheryl almost got 50% of the vote a great achievement.
